Wildwood cabin offers cosy yet contemporary self catering accommodation in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Enjoy a truly wild and unspoiled area of the Highlands surrounded by magnificent peaks and miles from traffic and crowds, where the pine-marten roams and the stars shine brightly.

The cabin is nestled among mixed woodland by a babbling burn in the lochside hamlet of Inchlaggan a few minutes walk from Loch Garry in beautiful Glen Garry. Sleeping six, it's a great holiday home for families and friends.

The cabin's location is equally suited for guests wishing to tour the area and for those who are looking to truly get away from it all.

The loch shore is a 15 minute stroll and there is a good network of forest tracks, paths, and several local munros for hiking and mountain biking right here in the glen. Our neighbour offers fishing on the loch

Near to The Great Glen, Wildwood is an ideal location if you wish to explore the Highland highlights of Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, Loch Ness , Ben Nevis and Glencoe in a week long trip.

Great walks can also be enjoyed along the stunning River Garry and in the surrounding ancient woodlands in the village of Invergarry which has an inn serving drinks and pub meals, two hotel restaurants, a post office and petrol station.

The village of Fort Augustus on Loch Ness, 25 minutes by car, has several pubs, cafes, and restaurants and scheduled boat tours of Loch Ness.

Water sports and boat hire are available at Laggan 20 minutes away on Loch Oich/ Loch Lochy.

We are Bianca and Paul Swannell and we live in the Scottish Highlands with our young and lovely daughter Amber.

We bought a 2 acre plot in Glengarry in 2014 on which to build our own home and place a holiday home. In 2019 we installed Wildwood cabin - which arrived complete on 2 lorries from Matlock Derbyshire!

We followed in May 2020, moving to our new home from Ashbourne Derbyshire, and are loving Highland living.
